ANCHOR POINT KIDS
There's nothing more exciting than seeing young people grow in their love for God and helping them understand the gospel– who Jesus is and what he has done for them. That is exactly what we want for our kids here at Anchor Point. We're thrilled to have a role in introducing kids to the story of the Bible and helping them understand the Gospel message in a personal way.
We believe the Bible establishes that parents are primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children. We see the Church's role in this as a significant one: we seek to support, resource and provide a Gospel-centered kids program grounded in Scripture. For this reason, starting with our preschoolers, we use The Gospel Story for Kids curriculum, which is written with the aim of showing how every Bible story fits into God's ultimate plan of redemption through Jesus. With this program, the same biblical truths kids are learning on the weekends can be reinforced at home through family devotionals and additional resources. Each parent also receives The Jesus Storybook Bible to read with their kids at home.
We also practice child dedication, which is a public promise made by a parent(s) and the entire Anchor Point team to ensure that your child grow in their love for God and understand the gospel. Child dedications happen during a Sunday worship service.
