Starting Wednesday, September 21st Anchor Point will be kicking off Youth Group every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30pm at the Lakeside Campus.

Currently we do not have a Youth Pastor, and so the youth group will be a combination of student-led ministry along with the help of Brenda Miatke and Dan and Desi Rother. They are currently meeting and putting together an excellent plan for the fall that will help students grow spiritually, grow into community, and grow as missionaries into their schools.

Anchor Point Youth Group is kicking off - Wednesday, September 21st. For the first meeting we will be at PORTMAN SQUARE (714 N. 47th Ave. East, Duluth, MN 55804) from 6:30-8pm to get reacquainted, play some kickball, and eat some ice cream.

In the weeks following the kickoff, youth group will be every Wednesday Night from 6:30-8:30 at the Lakeside location. This will be a student lead event with fun games, snacks, worship, and a study led by Francis Chan titled Finding Truth. Finding Truth is a four-session series, pastor and author Francis Chan invites students into the power and confidence that comes from anchoring their identity, purpose, and relationships in the truth of Scripture. Students will walk away with practical steps toward building their lives on the firm foundation of the Bible.

For the months of Oct/Nov/Dec Pastor Erick will come on the second Wednesday of the month to talk with the students about "Reaching Lost Friends in our Schools".

If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to Dan and Desi Rother - rother.dan@live.com. Dan and Desi will be helping the students lead and organize, they will also be the main point of contact with any questions or concerns you may have.

If you have any questions or concerns, or need to talk with an adult, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Student Leader Coaches: Dan and Desi Rother - 507-696-3348, or Brenda Miatke - 218-464-7945.

How We do Youth Ministry

At Anchor Point, we believe that our teenagers are not just the church of the future, but the church of today. Below are a couple articles that explain our values as we train, equip, and encourage our teens in their ongoing discipleship.
