Your Life is Your mission
YOUR LIFE IS YOUR MISSION is about gutsy moves we can make in order to apply what we have been looking at biblically in our last series in Acts (“Gutsy Moves”). As everyday missionaries… Reaching out across the backyard fence… Praying more intentionally for the person across the street…-being a missionary to our neighbors and our neighborhood. Loving our neighbors as ourselves, like Jesus said! We can’t really separate our neighborhood, work, hobbies and recreation from our mission. In fact, if we begin to think about bringing our relationship with Jesus into all those spheres, we can begin to be on mission. In short, rather than adding evangelism or mission as one more activity to life, just start seeing what you already do in life as an opportunity to be on mission for the one we follow -Jesus!

3. CATCHPHRASES -- WEEK 3
Mar 9 -- This is the final of 3 messages about "Your Life is Your Mission". This message could also be called "the smorgasbord" as a trip back to the table for that variety of tastes, courses and catchphrases we may have missed. It will give you a larger context for sharing faith close to home and it being a natural part of our everyday life. It also acknowledges the outflow of Jesus' call to go and tell others about Him. "Show and Tell..." it can be about as easy as that was back in grade school, if we get past the inhibitions or stage fright. These simple ideas and practical neighborhood or workplace stories from which they were learned, make this do-able for those of us who don't feel so gifted in sharing, yet sense the call of Jesus to do it!
2. Catchphrases -- Week 2
Mar 2 -- In this message you’ll find approximately one dozen more catchphrases to add to the set given in last week’s message. This message could also be called “Outside the Box,” as observe how God eventually reached outside the box of His Chosen people, the Jews, and went also to the Gentiles. In Acts 10, God connected Cornelius with Peter. There’s a story contained here about a modern day Cornelius, and offers ideas of how to find these seekers. This message encourages you to pray and reach out naturally to those just across the fence, but also to go out into the deep blue sea of unreached people who may not even realize that they are lost without Christ. The local mission field in the USA is growing. These catchphrases will challenge you to think and remember that sharing your faith isn’t something to fear or avoid. Sharing faith can be exciting and natural, as well as supernatural as we engage others with God’s help using these simple, practical ideas. (This is message #2 of 3; about 3 dozen catchphrases in all.)
