Missions

We aim to "love God boldly and turn all to Him." We cannot be satisfied in only turning to Christ those who walk through our doors. So, while we work at being individual witnesses in our individual worlds, we also search for ways to go together and serve families in the name of Jesus.

Meanwhile, we also support local and international missionaries with prayer and finances, for they can go where we can't.

International Partners

Gary & Ineta Lansdowne ~ Thailand

Picture
Working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), the Lansdownes are bringing good news to many through music outreach, relief and mercy services, and training and discipling. Gary and Ineta have had many adventures with God around the world, and their passion for their ministry is unparalleled.

Our Missionary Friend ~ Southeast Asia

Since 1993, our friend has participated in many facets of ministry to the Hmong nation, including  literacy training, evangelism, church planting, and leadership training.

LOGOS WHOLISTIC MINISTRIES ~ INDIA

GlobalFingerprints India - Logos from EFCA on Vimeo.

We're excited to begin in 2013 a new partnership with Logos Wholistic Ministries, who has planted over 700 churches, trains and equips pastors, and works in some of the most desperate slum conditions with children who often don't receive a single meal all day.

For our Christmas 2012 offering, we raised $16,573 to feed and educate slum 112 orphans and 22 single-parent families for a year.

We're planning a mission trip to India for Oct, 2013.

Local Partners

Cru ~ Greater Twin Ports, MN & WI

Picture
Aaron and Brenda Miatke oversee the Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ) ministries in the greater Twin Ports area. That's 14 campuses! "Our aim is to expose every college student to the gospel and turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers who'll impact the world for Christ," Aaron said. "We do that first by building strong leaders--student leaders, missional leaders (found often on faculty or from local churches), staff leaders. As the first full-time CCC staff in the Twin Ports, we're excited to build healthy teams on all 14 campuses. College students are often called the powerful percent-- they will influence every sector of society.  As CCC founder Dr. Bill Bright said, 'If we win the university today, we will win the world tomorrow.'"

Bridge of Hope ~ Kansas City, KS

It's a privilege to partner with Pastor Luther Eatman and his congregation in reaching out to those whom the world labels as "hopeless" in Kansas City. May God do abundantly more than all we could ask or imagine through our brothers and sisters at Bridge of Hope Community Church!

MN Teen Challenge Northland Campus ~ Duluth, MN

We're proud to support MN Teen Challenge; they do amazing work as they partner with Jesus Christ to rescue and restore men caught in the forces of addiction.

CROSS HILL COMMUNITY CHURCH ~ VIRGINIA, MN

Picture
Cross Hill Community Church began meeting publicly in Virginia, MN, in September of 2010.  In the summer of 2012, God provided them with an opportunity to purchase a storefront in downtown Virginia on Chestnut Street.  Since moving into their new location, Cross Hill has been able to open the church for free coffee during the week, resulting in a dramatic expansion in the number of people they are reaching.  It is becoming known as a safe place to come as you are to have a cup of coffee and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  In a city that is 98% white, Cross Hill has become an ethnically diverse congregation that is building relationships to the poor, the broken, and the outcasts in the city.  Cross Hill is currently developing new relationships with a small group of people from the Boise Forte Vermilion Reservation and is beginning to dream of eventually planting a Gospel-preaching church on or near the reservation. The baby items in our storefront window (see picture) were collected and sent to Duluth for a pregnant woman who had been freed from human trafficking.

Arise Church ~ Esko, MN

Picture
Planted by Anchor Point's daughter plant (Rock Hill), Arise Church is laboring to reach Esko and neighbors with the joyous news that Jesus Christ has come to save every person. May God strengthen them and guide them into every opportunity to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
