History
North Bay, Anchor Point, Rock Hill, Cross Hill, and Arise are sister congregations working together to bring the hope of Jesus to the Twin Ports, always prayerfully planning for the next church plant to be established.
2011 |
Cross Hill Community Church begins public worship services in Virginia, MN. Meanwhile, Rock Hill helps plant a Arise Church in Esko, MN with the support of Anchor Point; Arise launches on October 30.

2010 |
With the support of Anchor Point and Rock Hill, Cross Hill Community Church begins core team training in Virginia, MN.

2009 |
Anchor Point purchases 5202 Colorado St and has its first permanent location.

2007 |
With the support of North Bay and Anchor Point, Rock Hill Community Church begins core team training and worship services.

2005 |
Anchor Point Community Church launches publicly on September 11.

2004 |
In the spring, Jeff approaches the leadership of North Bay with the call God has placed on his heart to take on the
Duluth-church-planting vision. After much prayer, North Bay confirms this call and releases nine families, their pastor, and ongoing financial support to encourage the birth of Anchor Point Community Church. With five more families from the Duluth area, the core team begins a year-long journey of prayer, planning and training. |
1998 |
Pastor Jeff Sorvik joins North Bay. He and the core families of North Bay make a commitment to God and the
Evangelical Free Church of America to help establish a new church in Duluth as soon as possible. |
1997 |
North Bay Community Church is planted in Superior, WI with a vision of seeing more healthy churches planted around the region.
