GROUPS AT ANCHOR POINT:
We believe that “Church” as God intended it was never meant to be a spectator sport. We are all called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.
Missional Communities are designed to be the Church beyond a building. We are groups of people who meet regularly in places throughout our city, united by our desire to take part in God’s redemptive mission together.
Missional Communities are meant to make a difference. We gather to worship God, study the scriptures and grow together in our faith. We actively serve and share life together, inviting others to join us along the way.
Loving God, Loving People, Making Disciples. Together.
Our groups, called Missional Communities, are the main context for discipleship at Anchor Point. Our groups include opportunities for personal growth, building community with one another and sharing together in the mission of making disciples. Each group works together to declare and demonstrate the Gospel to a specific pocket of people, resulting in a strong sense of shared mission and community as we grow and follow Jesus together. Each group looks a little bit different, but included in the life of a Missional Community are times spent together as a large group, smaller discipleship contexts and opportunities to actively bring the Gospel out into the lives of others.
We currently have groups meeting most every night of the week in various locations throughout the Twin Ports area. All of our groups are inter-generational, so you can expect to find a diverse set of ages and stages of life in each one. See a list on the right side of this page, or just fill out the contact form below to have someone get in touch with you to help you get connected with one of our groups.
