June 15 -- Learning to love God above all things is hard work because it involves the whole person–heart, soul, mind and strength. It can be likened to climbing a mountain–hard work, but worth it when you finally reach the top and see the landscape from a different perspective. When we love God above all things our perspective of the world and the people of the world changes. We see the world and people differently, and that changes everything.
6. The Tale of two churches
June 8 -- In the Tale of Two Churches we hear the story of two churches. Both started out strong but the story of one church ends tragically while the story of the other is still being written. At Anchor Point Community Church our story is still being written. How will our story end? The answer hinges on whether or not we keep the “first thing first.” We must love the God of the mission above the mission of God.

June 1 -- This message breaks down the different areas of life in which we can apply our effort to loving God. What's at stake here is a fulfilled life...loving God will all of our strength should result in the highest level of joy and fulfillment. So then, how can we best love God will all our strength as we work, eat, rest, exercise and serve?

May 25 -- This message discusses the mind of God, the mind of man, and explores practically how we, as Christians, can love God will all of our minds. A key place to start is by thoughtfully reading God's Word, as it brings about the renewal of our minds. Yet, we must avoid becoming prideful, because no matter how much we know about God - there's always more to learn.

May 18 -- Jesus said to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12). This message examines what it looks like to love God with all your soul. The soul is the piece of you that relates to your emotions, your feelings. This piece of us is the one that is most prone to ebb and flow, be high and low. As the saying goes, "feelings come and go." So how do we love God with our emotions, that part of us that changes so often? Listen in to find out.

May 11 -- The Bible defines the heart as the deepest part of you, the core of who you are, your whole identity. So when Jesus says to love (agape) God with all your heart what he means is, love God with who you are. So the question becomes, who are we and/or what is our identity?
