Facility Maintenance TeamThe Vision
Take care of the building, take care of people. We strive for excellence as we serve Christ, and part of that is being a good steward of what He’s entrusted to us. That includes this building. Granted, much of our ministry work is done beyond the walls of Anchor Point, but we also pray that this building could be a center for the community to gather. When they come, we want this building to be in tip-top shape for them to use. The Commitment--Sign up for a project. Work individually or on a team. Project sizes vary. Some experience in maintenance preferred- not professional. (If you’re willing to learn, let us know. We’ll pair ya up!) Tools not required; we’ll find some for ya. Team Leader--Andy Blackwell Mow CrewThe Vision
The very first first-impression is formed as you walk up to the building, before you even get inside. Are we diligent in maintaining our grounds? A well-manicured lawn isn’t always noticed, but an untidy lawn certainly is. We aim to welcome people even before someone shakes their hand. Mower and gas is provided, so you just show up! The Commitment--Mow once a month, communicate via email or phone. Team Leader--Anders Gilbertson Snow CrewThe Vision
We keep Anchor Point's sidewalks clear and safe throughout winter. We're a dedicated group who go out and face the brutal elements so no one falls and hurts themselves getting from car to building (and to make travel easier on children walking to school!). Shovels, snow blower, and salt all provided. The Commitment--Serve one week per month throughout the winter; when it snows have the sidewalks cleared by 4 pm on Sat, by 8am on Sun, ASAP on Mon-Fri; communicate via email.
