Pouring God’s love on children in need
Would you like to serve children in need and the families who so faithfully care for
them? St. Louis County is putting on their
Foster Care Resource Fair—10-12, Sat, Apr
24, at Hermantown
Community Church—and they’ve asked for help! This event
consists of food, games, prizes, and resource booths. If you’d like to run a
game/activity booth for children, contact Foster Care Trainer Jessie Schunk
(749.9793) to let her know what you’d like to do. Contact

Steve and Teresa Johnson if you’d like to help in the
kitchen. Last year, about 180 people attended.
Raising funds for Art in Me
We have a budget of $4,000, and Anchor Point provides
$1,000. Would you be interested in approaching local
businesses and inviting them to partner with Duluth and
Beyond (our non-church, non-profit organization) to serve
500+ families on Aug 22? Or do you think the business
you’re a part of would like to donate to Art in Me? We
have a packet of info you can use to approach
companies, we just need people. Are you one? E
mail Julie!
Art in Me
On Sun, Aug 22, we’ll skip church to be the church, serving
families and children at Chester Park through Art in Me. Last
year over 1,100 people came. We had a BLAST! Would you
like to help seek funds from the community? Are you
interested in being an art specialist (overseeing an art
project the kids do)? Email
Julie today!
