Rudolph
Ever feel like a misfit? Ever thought of booking passage to the
island of misfit toys? Or maybe you have found in yourself a tendency to
look down on others whom you perceive as misfits. Why do we feel this
way? And what does Jesus have to offer that can help us value
ourselves and those we see around us?!
After hearing the message:
- Do you feel like you fit or like you are a misfit?
- What keeps you from allowing God to show you that you fit?
- What steps are you taking to become interdependent with the
body of Christ at Anchor Point?
- Have you yielded everything to God so that He can spiritually
empower your destiny?
It's a Wonderful Life
What makes a person successful? What makes a person wealthy? And
what does that have to do with Christmas? Join us as we review George
Bailey's story and consider how it draws out an understated theme of
Christ's coming: value.
After hearing the message:
- How do you define success? Wealth?
- Do you ever feel frustration, anger, or depression because you
haven’t achieved certain marks of success? Which ones get to
you and how do you respond?
- Act on it: This week, serve someone else just because they
matter to God.
- Act on it: When you’re in the bathroom this week, look at
yourself in the mirror and say, “I am so valuable that the God of
the universe gave everything for me.”

The Christmas season has given rise to
many great movies that have become
traditions in our homes. Who doesn't know
about Rudolph, the Grinch, or Ebenezer
Scrooge? Who doesn't cry at the end of It's
a Wonderful Life? (Come on, admit it—you
know you do.) These blockbusters have
stood the test of time because they grapple
with the same issues and challenges that
each of us struggles over. Join us this
Christmas as we examine how Jesus and His
life, heart, and ministry are reflected through
these Christmas classics!
